DisAbility Rights Idaho Board of Directors actively participates in governing the company by approving public policies, helping to set the annual objectives and priorities, providing oversight of the company finances, making grievance determinations, setting personnel policies and raising funds. Attendance by board members at the quarterly board meetings and actives participation on committees is a vital ingredient in the success of our mission. Board members find that their role is both challenging and fulfilling, and that their dedication of time and effort is well rewarded.

If you would like to play a role in protecting the rights of people with disabilities, we invite you to apply for a position on DisAbility Rights Idaho's Board of Directors. Members must be residents of the State of Idaho. We encourage individuals with disabilities or their family members to apply, but we also welcome anyone with an interest in our programs, our goals and disability issues in general. We look for members who represent the geographical, ethnic/cultural, and economic diversity of Idaho. Experience or knowledge in business management, finance/accounting, law, public relations or fund raising would also be of benefit to our board.
